The reset button is marked with the white circle on the front of the sensor.

To reset, do the following:

Step 1. Press and hold the reset button for about 15 seconds and release when the red light blinking rapidly.

Step 2. When the red light starts blinking every second, reset is complete and successful. You can now scan for the device again in Heimgard.

Troubleshooting

If the magnet sensor does not respond when you open the window or door, the battery may be defective. Check if the battery is properly inserted or replace the batteries if they are discharged.

In case of poor or weak signal, try to mount the sensor somewhere else. You can also use a signal amplifier between the gateway and the sensor in order to strengthen the signal. Zigbee is a mesh network.

If the search for a gateway has timed out, you can start again by briefly pressing the button once on the sensor and start the scan for a device in Heimgard.
